I'm going through a phase at the moment. I'm ok with it; telling myself it's better to get it over with now rather than starting uni and being shouted at by my tutors for being boring.
I want to talk about editing/layers/painting/vector software. I want something nice to try to get to grips with, I have a tablet and I like drawing like with a pencil, or painting, so a painter program would be nice, but honestly I can get used to working with anything.
Where does that lead me in terms of picking software? I like the look of painttoolsai, corel painter, opencanvas
photoshop, illustrator and inkscape but I'm completely lost.
Also gimp, I've heard that's pretty good.
Oh, and I passed my foundation with a merit! That's put me in good spirits. Also someone bought my work
I quit my part time job next month which will leave me just under a month with completely free schedules before I start uni. I'm excited, but there's a lot I need to do before then so every day I am rushing to do stuff.
I'd like to include some useful things I find when surfing the web in this journal, but it completely slips my mind when I find something awesome. >_<
You know, like books, tutorials, awesome comics and things.
